Oh Yay Idaho...

And this is why we are super excited to leave Idaho.

I drove down to work this morning... I have been leaving a good hour early because it has been snowing and the highway is not so good. I get down to work and then find out there is a blizzard warning for pretty much all of Idaho. Well, work was keeping an eye on things and working out how to send as many people home as they could. Starting with those who lived further out. Luckily I was able to go home before things got too bad. Not more than an hour after being home they closed pretty much every freeway from Rexburg to Ashton, To Idaho Falls down to Pocatello.

So we are waiting and watching to see what mother nature decided to throw at us.

Only about 5 weeks and a little until we are in TEXAS!!! By the way San Antonio was low 80 high 70 today.........

So we will sit at home as suggested by the news, and be confined to Rexburg.... Wonder how Thanksgiving will turnout.....

FORT!

So Daniel surprised me one weekend by having us make pizza for dinner together and then make a fort to eat in!!! :) It was a load of fun. I miss making forts, it makes one feel young and mischievous again. I think this was 2 weekends before my surgery. Daniel had real pizza, I had crust with sauce... which was yummy though. And my tummy was ok with it. Which at that point was amazing I could keep it down!

And we were good "little kids" and cleaned up after ourselves.... :)

Surgery

So surgery went ell, and for those of you who know me when i was little, no i did not ask to keep my gallbladder. So i am extreamly sore, but thankfully they were able to do it laperscopically. So i have 4 cuts on my belly, one above my belly button, and 3 along my ribcage.

Oh and i am all peach/orange from being sanitized, and it doesn't wash off easily... grrr... lol

love you all and thanks for the prayers, love and support.

3 Day Weekend

So despite a rocky start to the weekend, it finished very well. Saturday we tuned up the Buick. new spark plugs, wires, oil, filter, and air filter.... We were pretty greasy afterward, and unfortuently we have not invested in a non water based soap, like my Dad taught me to use.. for shame on me....

Sunday we drove down to Pocatello to meet up with all of the family. Mom, Ed, Anthony, Rich, Ian, Amy, their 3 kids, Steven, Tizzy, Andy and their 3 kids, Becca, and her 2 kids...... ummm hopefully I'm not forgetting... oops and Ashley and her 3 kids came too! We had almost the whole family there except for a few people. It was crazy and super fun.

This is Curtis.. Daniel and I played with him on the Wiggle Racers.. they are supper fun toys.

The New

Alrighty... what's new.... I finally found a job! I am working at Qwest, down in Idaho Falls. I work Monday through Friday 10am-7pm. Training is about 10 weeks, and this is my 3rd week. So far so good. The time flies and the weeks go by even faster! So all is well there. I get health insurance, dental and vision. I get paid very well and also get commission. So we are very happy that I finally found a job.

The next big news is that after a few months of searching, being frustrated and all we finally bought a truck!!! Yay no more car sales people. She's nice and roomy with the ability to fold down seats and extend the bed up to 10 feet!

The back seats are very roomy and comfy.....
As well are the front seats.

We've been working hard and then using the weekends to clean and play. Life is great and time is flying!

Things we are looking forward to:
Going to Yellow Stone
2 weddings for our friends
Holidays off
Daniel graduates December 18 !!!!

We hope everyone is doing well and that life is treating you well! Much love to all!

A Fun Weekend

So Saturday "I took" Daniel to Craters of the Moon. He had never been, and it is pretty fun. So we drove through Arco and stopped at Pickle's Place to have lunch. So here are some pics from the trip.

Then we went to EBR-1 on the way home. it was quite the experience, especially since Daniel knows quite a bit about this, seeing as how he works in this area. So he could explain anything i didn't understand.

Then we stopped in Idaho falls to go to the drive in... I have never been to a drive in theater so we killed some time together at a park we found..... :)

Over all it was a blast and it was great to spend time together. Hope all is well with everyone!
