Some More Good Times

Friday we went camping with our friends Troy and Lindsey. It was a blast!

Saturday we hiked and then drove around and did some Geo-Caching. Which was a blast.
And though this picture is way cool... we got some poison oak.... Daniel broke out much more than i did. But it was good.

Outdoors!

Sunday I wasn't doing so well, and asked Daniel for a me day. We decided to get out and went hiking! Neither of us have been hiking for a while. It was great! We had a lot of fun on our adventure. It was interesting getting there, and took a bit longer than we thought. So we didn't get to make it anywhere, but we hiked for a while and then turned around so we didn't get stuck in there when the sun went down. Over all though, it was a great day and such a fun adventure!

What's Up

So this last week we had our Sand pipers hatch!! They were soo dang cute. Mom, or Dad, who ever this is.. was about 6" from my feet! But I can understand why!

Three little chicks here.... and then it took us a while to find the 4th.. he decided to venture a little.
4th little one!
Then latter in the week our second nest of Sand pipers hatched, well, 3 of the 4... But super cute!!

So today Daniel came home from work and asked me if I had looked outside lately.... There was an un-natural "cloud" above us coming from the west over by "The Site" or the Nuclear Laboratory. So scanning the web we find that it is supposedly a "brush fire". But we are about 80 miles from "the site"... and the smoke was over us and traveling..... we didn't get any ash, so what ever is burning a lot hotter than a brush fire... .other wise it wouldn't be over us. It is all very uncharacteristic of a brush fire... so we are pretty sure they are coving up some testing gone wrong or something.....

These pics are at about 5:45 or so.. by 8 ish it was so thick it was blotting out the sun pretty well and was fairly dark.... felt like it should have been closer to 10pm! It is fairly windy too, so it is moving fast. So I guess we'll see what happens.

So this last week I was in Washington with my family. It was a ton of fun, though I missed Daniel sooo much. He didn't get to come due to classes... :( But it was good and now I am home.

I did have a lot of fun with my 3 nephews and niece! Plus being with my two sisters again was a blast! As it always is when we all get together.

I have over 400 pics so these are a few of them....

Christine, Silas's mommy, the baby and Talmage
Johannes... Christine's husband.... :)
This was our family project while up there... we tore out the railroad ties, and did this! and in about 2 1/2 days or so...

This was fun trying to get 4 kids to all look at you and smile at the same time...

My cousin Chantal and her kids and mother came up for the weekend. It was great to see them!!!
Quite time turned in to nap time... Dad and Kimball both feel asleep while Talmage was content with reading.

Grampa and Talmage
Talmage LOVES taking pictures and when he doesn't get to take them, he is more than willing to pose or tell you what you should take a pictures of...
Isaac has been working on an old motorcycle, and was reassembling the engine when we got there. When he put it back in it started!!
Ummm... We were looking for something in the shop and well......

Kaitlyn enjoying the sun and being outside.

So It was almost a family reunion, We were missing Daniel, and my brother Stephen and his wife, Lois. But we had a ton of fun. I enjoyed being Aunt Jessie, and though it was tiring to be pulled to see this, then that, then this.. etc, I love my nephews and my family.

I am very glad to be back home though. I missed my hubby. Hope everyone had a great 4th!
