Whee!
Here we go! Since getting back home there has been a few things that have happened. I spent the first day back cleaning, unpacking, and more cleaning. Then running a lot of errands. Daniel started classes and work. He has 14 credits of generals. Which is super light for him, compared to taking 14+ credits of CS degree he is use to! After class he goes down to work, and then comes home and eats, then finishes homework. He is so amazing! He takes such good care of us. Since we've been back we have also been able to spend some time with our friend Allen. So busy, busy, busy but we have found time to have some fun. We bought Allen's bike from him, so now I have a nice mt. bike and we have been out a few times. and only a couple minor "wrecks".

Trip to Washington
Hello again! So this last weekend we drove to Washington for our final reception. All went very well. We made it there and back safe. On our way there we saw a sign for a car museum, and said, hey, lets go. So we did. Deer Lodge Montana. Fun little historic city. It happened that the car museum was right there with the old state prison. So we did both. It was way cool. So if any of you pass through there, go!

Daniel and the prison wall... hehe

The wall is 20 feet high, 4 feet thick and goes 4 feet below ground. All built by inmate labor. Like many of the buildings here. Quite impressive though.

One post. They lowered keys down at 3 different points to get up.

Massive doors. they were really thick and heavy.

For really problematic inmates they gave them these shoes to wear. the soles are 10 pounds of cement.

Visiting area

Medical and dentistry room.... ewww.. thank goodness for our good situation!

I had daniel stand here. the door seemed smaller.... but not by much i guess..

The hole was where they had solitary confinement. They gave them bread and water only while here. They could be in here for up to10 days. then got a physical to make sure they were ok and then sent back to life or could be sent back for another 10 days! yuck! And there was no light in there either.

All of the walls were ridiculously thick, this was one of the thickest, but most were at least half. so a good foot or more.

Maximum security.

This was actually pretty creepy. I wouldn't of wanted to be walking around in there with prisoners in the prison. Just creepy and scary.

Here is the start of the car museum.... and mom this is a rumble seat just for you!

First Station Wagon!

This is a replica of the Cobra

And i did get one picture while in Washington. But it was so busy that I don't have more. But it was fun. Crazy but fun. Trying to get everything set up, chasing kids, visiting everyone in the area, etc. but it went very well and lots of fun. It was great to see everyone in Washington and to have a trip out of Rexburg. Though it is nice to be back in my own home, with the regular routine. Good times and fun things! Hope all is well with everyone else!

Friends!
This has been a fun and crazy time. We had 2 friends moving, so I was packing and cleaning all last week! Juilz and Ben moved to Arizona, and Lindsey and Troy are moving across town. Right now they are staying with us between moving out and moving in. So we have been having tons of fun with our friends.
Sunday we decided to go climb "R" Mountain. I never had before, but it is a nice little climb. We had tons of fun, and enjoyed being outside together. The weather was a little windy, but over all good. (Which is great, because today it snowed like a foot!!! grrrr...)
So here are some pictures from "R" Mountain and having fun around the house. I have loved having Justin around. He is so much fun, and I have been trying to get the camera out more..... which is why i'm not in any of the pictures, and Daniel is a stinker who doesn't like pictures....

Troy, Justin and Lindsey

Daniel at the top of "R" Mountain

There are a bunch of different sized caves, due to the lava flow. I loved it! Daniel and I climbed around to try to find a bunch of them!
Justin blowing kisses!

And just like "Aunt Jessie" Justin loves the frogs!
Wednesday Daniel and I are driving to Washington for the reception there. Hopefully the snow will be gone by then..... and the passes good. But we are excited for a road trip!
Troy and Lindsey get to move into their new place Thursday! Yea! Sorry that we won't be able to help. :(
So life is good and we are enjoying every second of it. We hope everyone is doing well also! Love and kisses to everyone!

Easter!
So for the last few days we have been getting a bit of snow every night and a little during the day. Most days halfway through the day it is a little sunny, so there isn't as much snow as there could be. But this is what it looked like this morning when we woke up..... :(
For easter I bought some baskets and eggs to do a traditional Ewing easter. I hid the eggs filled with candy and put the baskets beside the bed. Then when we woke up we searched for the eggs. Daniel enjoyed it and it was a good start to a conference easter Sunday.
I also did up the turkey that we have had in our freezer since November. Since it was a big meal we invited our friends Lindsey and Troy and their son Justin over for dinner after conference. Daniel and I had been playing with his train earlier and thought Justin might like it. He did, but not when it moved! Though he did get use to it, but he still didn't like how it moved so much.
And of course when you get Troy and Daniel together, seeing as how they are both Computer Science majors, there is a lot of "I wonder if we can do this...." going on. Well Lindsey made a comment and Daniel and Troy decided to try. And thus the figure eight emerged. Yes, that is a figure eight with a train going round it. Which worked fairly well... Every so often if you went to fast or too slow around certain parts of the track it would derail the train, but generally it worked well.
So conference was great. Dinner turned out quite well, and we had a lot of fun.
Now we have Finals this week for Daniel! Just one more paper and a few tests and he's done! Which we are both very excited about. Then we have a road trip to Washington for the reception and to get the rest of my stuff. Which it will be good to get out of Rexburg for a little bit.
So there is our life in a nut shell! Love you all and wish you the best!
