Well, here we are. Stage one of plan Maryland. We got Daniel up to Maryland, settled and working. Now stage 2. Finish house and pack. Here are some pictures from our trip. It was beautiful. We are very excited about living in Maryland. It is so pretty.

 That friday we took a little trip to the capitol. We definitely will have to go back many times to see everything.

Tons of awesome buildings on our walk to dinner.

 So our friend Chris, who got us the job, and who Daniel is staying with, went with us to D.C. and we went chinese for dinner, he ordered really good food. He has been to Japan several times, and actually was in Fukashima when the earthquake happened...... but he order us traditional food and it was yummy.

 Oh yea, and some of it looked at you while you ate it. Lol this is called dry fish... but it is deep fried.

BIG News

Well I suppose it's time to post about our big news.

 1. I consider this big news; I have finger nails!!!!!!  I have been trying to stop biting my nails since jr. High or earlier.. so now at the age of 23 I finally have stopped. We went to Idaho and without thinking I didn't bite them.. We got back and I noticed I had nails. I have had nails for 3 months and no temptation to bite them either.

2. We are moving to Maryland!!! Daniel has a new job he starts sep 17. It all happened so fast and they wanted him there in about 2 weeks after we accepted the offer. SO no time to find somewhere up in Maryland. Daniel will be a consultant for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, leading their Cyber Security. So Daniel is going up to Maryland, he will be living with our friend there, and looking for a place for us along with working. he will be a busy guy. 

I will be staying here in Texas finishing up the house and packing. We will be renting out the house to begin with. So we are working on getting everything fixed up. Hopefully It wont be too long until we all get to move up to Maryland. Daniel will be flying back every other weekend, which will then be busy with lots of home improvement projects. We are super excited about it and can't wait for our next adventure!

We have been painting A TON!!! We bough paint this weekend (5 gal) and in less than 48 hours we have almost used it all! We have the landing and 3 bedrooms done. We have the closets left but we finally painted and touched up so they are all done.

3. We still have to paint the trim white, the whole upstairs we have to do. Lots of trim and white left. :) then we have closets, 2 bathrooms and the master room left. Then we will be all done with painting!!! It is looking great  so far! ( oh and our new ladder! LOVE Costco)

 Storage Room... even with everything in it, looking crazy, the paint makes the room feel amazing!

 We also are working on replacing all the switches, plugs, and plates.

 Landing. It feels so nice to walk up the stairs to this. It feels so calming.

 Propane just like mommy, likes to get paint in her hair. I guess you can't see it too well, but the has some on her ear. 

She also decided that her shoulder needed some color. She got it pretty good. 

 Propane just loves her dad and will climb up on Daniel's lap and just sit there.
