SO as my dear family knows I hate puzzles. I haven't had the patients for them, nor felt the desire to put them together. So for Christmas I ended up with a puzzle. Now what was I going to do with that? Well I decided to put it together. Why not? I need to be able to have the ability to say that i have accomplished such a feat. And here it is. The first puzzle I have put together myself.

Then as many know, I spent a week and a half in California helping my sister Christine out. It was great fun to spend time with Christine and Johannes and a blast to play with Silas! He is such a goof and quite the independent kid at only 13 months!

He absolutely LOVES this box. He was on it, in it and if he couldn't get it how he wanted it he let you know so you could help him make it just right.

Towards the end of the visit Silas was sick of Aunt Jessie, and just wanted to sit with mom. Though he is a cuddly little guy.

Soooo,.... one day Christine was opening a Popsicle and Silas wanted some. Well Christine let him hold it and well... never got it back. Silas chowed down on that Popsicle.
So this last week Daniel and I were part of History in San Antonio. San Antonio got snow! The last time was 1982! Of course you can see, hardly anything, but of course they can't even drive in rain here so everywhere closes down. Daniel's work was closed until noon and he was able to work from home that morning!

So over all life is good, and very busy.

Great pictures of Silas! I regret not having taken any while you were here, but I guess I wasn't really worrying about that at the time :) We're so glad you were able to come help us out! Crazy about he snow. I think it was Houston that got the brunt of it, no? There have been some casualties and damage from all of it I believe. Glad you guys aren't there! Oh, and I'm getting closer on my puzzle :)
