SO what a weekend! We went to the temple saturdy and played games at The McEwan's in our ward. :) we also ate out at Bill Miller's BBQ, which we hadn't been to yet.. and we got the 10 piece chicken tender special with a bucket of soda. Yes a bucket.

Here is the apple pie Daniel and I made for the 4th of July! It turned out great!

This is the skirt I sewed. I need to get a better pic. but it has pinks and green and a dark brown on an off white. I am so proud of it!

So Daniel's mom flew down Sunday night for a few days. Since we are in a stage 2 drought there were no fireworks, so we decided to celebrate by priming and painting our living room! So here are some before and after pictures. They of course didn't come out in the right order. But they are there. :) Daniel took Tuesday off too and it was so great to have mom there and Daniel off for 4 days!!! We also visited the food bank, Daniel's mom manages the Pocatello one, and went down town, and did a few things. It was tons of fun!

This is the best pic to show the color we painted. it is a golden tan. Much better than the green and orange.

So this is the sample for the kitchen. I'm thinking of doing this gray, and then 2 small walls a deep red for accent in the kitchen.

This is how my kitchen and the informal dinning room look... primed! Much better! :)

Primed the upstairs landing. Much better than before, see below

Before with the wall paper stuff and gross

So now I just have the bedrooms to prime. I forgot the pics but i have the half bath primed too. And we have colors picked for most of the house! I'm so excited to get it all painted. It will be much prettier and more us.
Looks much better - I like the colors you picked! And way to go on the skirt and apple pie, they both look awesome!
