Well, here we are. Stage one of plan Maryland. We got Daniel up to Maryland, settled and working. Now stage 2. Finish house and pack. Here are some pictures from our trip. It was beautiful. We are very excited about living in Maryland. It is so pretty.

Our back seat.... I didn't want us to go hungry or thirsty. I made cinnamon rolls, got some snacks at costco, and tons of water and drinks.
These were allover the place in Tenessee

Comming in to D.C. area. We drove around and just caught the tail end of some traffic.... took longer than we would have liked.... but

YAY!

That friday we took a little trip to the capitol. We definitely will have to go back many times to see everything.
 The original Smithsonian

No need to say what this is.........

Tons of awesome buildings on our walk to dinner.

So our friend Chris, who got us the job, and who Daniel is staying with, went with us to D.C. and we went chinese for dinner, he ordered really good food. He has been to Japan several times, and actually was in Fukashima when the earthquake happened...... but he order us traditional food and it was yummy.
Oh yea, and some of it looked at you while you ate it. Lol this is called dry fish... but it is deep fried.
Cemetary with old headstones. Some were so sunken into the ground you couldn't read most of it.
