Port Aransas

SO this weekend we drove down to the coast and enjoyed the Gulf of Mexico. We camped at Mustang Island state park. It was great, until about 4 am when the wind decided to roll our tent with us in it. So I stood inside the tent with all my weight against the wind while Daniel took out the poles, and then he held the tent down so I could crawl out. Then we stuffed it in the back of the truck and climbed in the cab. That's when I got the most sleep. We then watched the sunrise and got ready to go to Sand Fest, in Port Aransas. Which was awesome. we walked on the beach and playing in the ocean and had a ton of fun.

We weren't the only ones with tent problems.. :)

This is the moon. It was so bright.

The sand was soooooo soft!
Our campsite. The tent was my birthday present! I LOVE it!

  1. Looks like FUN (well except for the wind)! Those are some pretty cool sand castles. I love that you do something every weekend... I get to live vicariously through you :)

  2. The yellow building is a wienerschnitzel. It's a fast food place for hot dogs and sausages. Daniel was so excited to see one.

also we thought the sand would be soft.. yea it wasn't... :(

And Teen, glad I can help. :)
